C and I met my brother and his family at Manito Park for some summer fun.

John with their huge mountain dog, Sam. C is petting Sam in the middle of two other kids who thought Sam was a fun, cuddly dog too. She may not look mellow in this picture, but she really is. You can also see John's "glove-shoes" as one kid at the park called them.

We had a great visit with the Kortus family and as always the Manito park was very entertaining.
Before we left C and I had to check out the Rose garden
On the way back to the car we stopped to listen to the live concert in the park. Union Street was the band and Kevin Schibel was singing his folk/rock.
Last stop was the duck pond. A sure sign that C is ready for bed... he plays with his hair and twists it around his fingers.
