Chataqua is my home town, Chewelah's yearly fair. The city park is filled with booths selling home made goods and the street is blocked off for the carnival rides and game booths. Connor and I make the trip to visit my parents and walk through the fair every year.
This was our favorite booth at the fair this year. Grandpa makes similar wood creations (not for sale, but just for a hobby) only he puts more time and effort into his creations to give them more detail.
We met my brother at the fair. John and Laura
Ryan was excited to see his cousin, Connor. Ryan giving Connor a big hug
everyone grabbed a tasty beverage and sat down to visit for a while
Ryan trying to give Connor another hug, but Connor is focused on sucking down every last drop of his chocolate milk first. He loves his chocolate milk!
Peyton was checking out the fair with her uncle, Ricky. Peyton, Connor, Ryan
After a walk around the park to see all the booths and a nice relaxing visit while we cooled down with iced beverages and gobbled some burgers... it was time to hit the rides. Connor in front and Ryan behind him.
This is the first time Ryan has been on a ride. I think he likes it!
Next up is the planes. Connor originally picked this red plane to ride in, but then realized that Ryan had picked a blue plane to ride in on the other side.. so he decided to switch planes and ride with Ryan instead.

After the rides we went back to Grandpa and Nana's house to relax. Connor got to open his birthday gift from John, Laura and Ryan... match box cars.
John and Laura brought up their juicer to make us a tasty green drink packed with vitamins.
