It was just the 4 of us for Thanksgiving this year, so we decided to have steak, shrimp, potatoes, green bean casserole, Red Lobster biscuits and stuffed mushrooms. Then we watched Lord of the Rings. We've never seen it, so I recently bought the movies. We finally bought a new Christmas tree this year and we all worked as a family to put it together and fluff out the branches. Kaiden actually decorated the tree mostly on his own. I did move a few ornaments up towards the top of the tree where he couldn't reach. We took Piper for a walk on the out skirts of our development (which boarders farm land) and we discovered a dirt area with a motorcycle/ 4-wheeler track. We went back the next day and let the boys ride around on the track. Frank and Karen came over with their dog, Sam. We had dinner, Frank played a game of chess with Kaiden and we all played the Headbands game forever. We had so much fun. The following day Jason made 2 batches of beer... that's a full day process. I went out to lunch with my friend, Kim and went shopping. The boys had Raheem and Landry spend the night. Of course they had chocolate chip pancakes with whip cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles for breakfast.
