backyard update

 So, the contractor finally finished building our 4th car garage/shop. It was suppose to take 6 weeks, but actually took 3+ months. Jason wanted to finish the inside himself- so he put up the insulation, sheet rock and we both painted. I also painted the trim on the outside too. We both put the siding on the outside and I put up new vinyl trip pieces around the windows/vents. The patio is also done. It took 2 cement trucks for the pour. Jason had removed a bunch of the siding from the back of the house before they did the patio. He removed all 4 living room windows, put new house wrap on that section and installed the windows again.  We had trouble in the past with one of the windows leaking from the top. Jason found a dry stack faux stone siding that we both liked, so we installed that on the lower 4 feet of the back of the house before putting up the other house siding. Unfortunately we ran out of time and our covered awning for the patio will have to wait until next summer.

Flag football

 Jason is coaching flag football again.  They are the Rams!  First game = first win!  Kaiden is doing amazing this season.  He's pulling flags and even scored 1 of the 4 touch downs.  I bought him a suite and asked him to try it on... he's such a character!  He also lost another tooth- picture is of him showing me how loose it was just before he ripped it out because it was "too difficult to eat with a loose tooth."  Tooth fairy gave him $8 plus change.

Out door movie

 Channing's brother- Jason and his wife, Beth invited us over. They had an out door movie for Aedan, Kaiden and a neighbor kid, Alex.  Then Jason, Beth, Channing and I played a board game while they watched the movie. 

Riverfront Park

 Connor and I took Kaiden and Colton to Riverfront park to play.

Silverwood

 Connor, Mason, Kaiden and I met Channing and Aedan at Silverwood. It was a chilly day. Connor and Mason hung out together. Channing and Aedan tackled the roller coasters. Aedan and Kaiden played in the lazy river, which the water was warm but the air was cold. Kaiden didn't bring dry clothes like I had asked him to... so I had to buy him sweat pants and a sweat shirt after the water park. Kaiden and I went around and did all the littler rides. We caught the last magic show of the night, but Aedan was tired so they left. We got seats down on the floor and ordered pizza. Always a great magic show!
