calling my homeys

Kaiden and his phone.  Every once in a while we accidentally leave our iphones unattended and sticky fingers Kaiden snatches it up.  He gets really upset when we attempt to take it away from him too.  Once he finds his prize phone he is not willing to give it up without a fight.  Connor used to be the same way at this age.  We have an older iphone that we gave to Connor with some games on it.  He hasn't actually played with it for years though... but it works great to trade Kaiden the play iphone for our phone before he changes the settings, which he's done to Jason's phone before.  Little stinker!  He loves Connor's old Spider-man chair too.  Just chillen in his lounge chair texting all him homeys.

Connor's First day of First grade

Tuesday was his Meet and Greet... Wednesday was the first day of First Grade!  Jason, Kaiden and I all took him to school on the first day.

When Jason sent me a picture of a Huge Halloween spider at Costco.. Connor and I said "Buy it!"  The boys love spiders and this is a great addition to our Halloween decorations, which I put out over the weekend.  We have had several huge fires burning in the area, which makes it impossible to spend time outside with the smoke.  We were starting to get board being cooped up inside, so Connor and I decided to dig out the Halloween decorations for something fun to do.  I guess we're 2 months early this year.  =)

 the boys love our new spooky spider with fuzzy legs and light up eyes.  Added bonus the box makes a little hide out spot for Connor.  Goofy kid!

We take the boat out to Silver Lake by our house almost every weekend for some fishing and sometimes tubing.  We bought a new smaller tube for Connor.  It works great.  He was a little bit nervous to try it out on his own, but once we got going he had a blast and loved it.  Kaiden got a chance to try out the Captains chair too...
