We went to a catered Spokane Indians baseball game with Jason's work. Kaiden even got one of the game balls that was hit out. They had bounce castles and slides, which Kaiden had fun playing on. Plus a batting cage that he did a few times too.

Frog Hollow
The next day we took the boys to Frog Hollow to play in the water. Jason also took the 3 big boys knee boarding and wake boarding. They snorkeled, kayaked, played with the sea scooter and caught toads.

Connor's 15th birthday
I kept asking Connor what he wanted to do for his birthday and every time the response was "nothing". But finally a few days before his birthday he decided he wanted to invite his best friends: Mason, Raheem and Rachel over to see the new Indiana Jones movie in the B&B theater. After the movie we came back to our house for hamburgers and the kids decided to play board games. They played 8 rounds of Uno (winners were: Kaiden, Mason, Rachel, Mason, Connor, Connor, Rachel, Raheem). Then they started a game of Taco vs Burrito but we had to pause for cake. I made Connor a lemon pie (anything lemon is his favorite) and bought a chocolate tuxedo cake. After cake Rachel had to go home. Connor opened her gift on the way out- a classic book and gift card. Mason got him a lego set. Then the boys played some video games. The 3 big boys slept in the basement.

Banff Day 7
We left the campsite and went to Johnston Canyon for a 3.3 mile hike up and back with 862 feet elevation. We almost skipped this hike since we couldn't find any spots in the parking lot, but we found a pull off spot just down the road. There are narrow bridges, waterfalls and beautiful mountain views everywhere. The hike started off sunny and a warm 70 degrees. We passed the lower falls and were almost to the top of the upper falls when it started to rain. We thought we could wait it out since the rain usually only lasts for 20 minutes, but it turned into a down pour with hail. We hid out under trees for a while, along with all the other hikers. But finally had to make a run for it down the trail back to the RV. We were soaking wet, muddy and cold. Luckily Jason installed an outdoor shower in our RV and we were able to wash our legs and Piper off, dry off with towels, get some clean dry clothes on and turned the heater on in the RV to warm up. From here we started driving towards the border. Along the way we got stopped by a herd of sheep crossing the road in Radium Hot Springs. So, we decided to stop and check out their thermal hot springs. The natural Spring water is changed out every 24 hours and is naturally heated to 102 degrees. They also have a cold plunge which is cooled to 39 degrees. Kaiden loved to jump in the cold plunge and then back in the hot springs. We all actually did it a few times, but Kaiden and I did it the most. We crossed the border over to the USA at 9:30pm. We had planned on staying at a campsite, but Jason decided to drive home instead. We got home just after midnight.
