After breakfast we decided to go sledding at the park. Connor drove his truck there.. pulling his sled.
My beautiful angel
behind the park is a small hill perfect for sledding since the bottom opens into a field. Jason gave Connor a few good pushes down the hill. The snow is really dry, which doesn't make for real good sledding snow.
It took about 3 pushes to get Connor to the bottom of the hill. Lucky for Connor he also got a nice ride back up to the top of the hill.
We thought a little more weight might help the sled so, I took a turn with Connor. But unfortunately we still only made it about 1/3 of the way down the hill before the sled came to a stop.
We met two brothers who just moved here... one with 6 kids and one with 2 kids. Connor made lots of new friends and had a blast sledding with the younger girls. Jason also got a good work out. Connor sat between 2 of the girls and Jason pulled them down and up the hill multiple times.
One of the middle age girls pushed Connor and her 4 year old sister down the hill a few times. Connor and the 4 year old girl tried to repay her by pushing her down the hill too... didn't quiet work out, but they tried.
After sledding we made a bunch of sugar cookies... so Santa could have some fresh cookies!
