After the zoo we drove to Aunt Sue's. We stayed at Sue's house with Aunt Frann, who was watching Brody, Sue's dog. Sue and Jon were gone for the week. She had a business trip and Jon went along for some sight seeing and to make it into a mini vacation for them. Sue made a treasure hunt for the boys before she left with clues and prizes. The boys loved it. She even left a bowl of boiled eggs for the boys to decorate. What a great aunt!
I gave the boys their last Easter gift- clear light up Lego cars. They both transform into 3-6 different Lego things.
They both got right to work, but Connor decided to use his pieces to create his own invention instead. He loves Lego's and he's really good at following the directions to put them together, but he prefers to not use directions and to create something unique from his imagination instead. He wants to be an inventor when he grows up, so I guess this is practice.
I had to help Kaiden put his truck together and once it was built he wasn't interested in transforming it into other vehicles.. he just wanted to play with it. The other truck he's playing with is the toy he picked out at the gift shop at the zoo. Half is zebra striped and the other half of the truck has tiger print. Connor picked out a tiger that transforms.
Jason doing what he does best.. napping! He wakes up early to get a run or swim in and then by evening he's ready for a nap.
