Kaiden's 3rd birthday

First we stopped to see Grandma.  Kaiden fell asleep in the car, so he got a little nap on the couch.
That night we took Grandma out to dinner... her choice.  Usually we don't allow her to eat fried foods, which are her favorites, but not good for her diabetes.  This time however we allowed her to choose any place she wanted for dinner.  She chose Red Lobster.  For her treat she picked salad, their cheese biscuits and coconut shrimp.  After dinner we brought her back to Sue's house to watch Kaiden open presents for his birthday.  We really thought she would enjoy that, but she's not getting along with Frann, who was also at Sue's.  Oh well, we enjoyed it and Kaiden loved what I got him.  Jason hadn't seen the gifts that I bought for his birthday yet, so it was exciting and new for him too.  I bought him a bunch of Thomas Train characters, stuffed monkey, etch a sketch, and Magic Tracks.

Instead of cake, we bought muffins.  Kaiden chose a chocolate muffin.

Before we left on Friday we took Grandma out to lunch... again her choice.  She chose Sizzler and picked a nice salad.
