After lunch (and some driving) we went to the Enchanted Forest.
The Enchanted Forest is an amusement park located in Turner, Oregon. Creator Roger Tofte opened the park in 1971 after seven years of construction. Today, the Tofte family still owns and operates the 20-acre park. The park is divided into various districts. Storybook Lane has attractions inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Mother Goose, and Grimms' Fairy Tales. Enter through the castle, crawl through Alice in Wonderland's rabbit
hole and slide down the Old Lady Who Lived In The Shoe slide. Enter the
witch's castle through her mouth and slide out her hair. Enchanted Forest also features a "Summer Comedy Theater," which showcases original musical plays based on classic fairy tales.
The boys favorite part was the Old Lady Who Lived in the Shoe slide. They played on the slide for a long time and then after we completed the entire park we returned to the slide for more fun (this time Jason and I joined the boys on the slide races). We all loved the Red Riding Hood comedy show too! Connor went on the Frog Hopper while Kaiden did the Kiddy Bumper Boats. Connor really wanted the bumper boats too, but he was too tall. They also enjoyed the shooting gallery and remote control boats.
Next was a stop at Costco for gas and dinner. Followed by boondocking at Seven Feathers Casino for the night. We played fetch with Piper, checked out the casino and the boys played some video games.
