I always let the boys pick what they want to do for their birthday party. Anything they want. For years I threw huge backyard party's for Connor, but then he started wanting to have them at places. This year he asked me to plan a backyard party again for him. Being that his actual birthday is the middle of July the last few years I have gave him the choice of celebrating early with his friends on the weekend following school getting out or waiting for his actual birthday. The only problem with waiting is that people tend to forget by then or their on vacation... which this year we will be on vacation. So, he chose to have it early. I planned a Nerf and Super Soaker party. We invited 11 kids and 9 came! His cousin, Ryan and 1 kid from school that I don't know are the only one's who didn't show up. We started off with a Nerf battle. I bought 500 Nerf bullets/ darts and put up some targets. I also bought all the kids some UV sun glasses. The only rules of the game were you had to wear the sun glasses to protect your eyes while you were battling, no shooting above the neck and no shooting up close. The Nerf battled lasted about an hour and then I started the treasure hunt. I had riddle clues hit around the yard which lead to a treasure... a bucket filled with 3 different types of super soakers for a water fight.
Connor's buddies: Mason, Josh, Raheem, Landry, TeJon, Kaden, Garrek, Nate, Rachel and his brother Kaiden.
