We considered skipping this tour and spending more time at the Grand Canyon instead, but we are all so glad we didn't! This canyon has a lot of famous photographs of it and for good reason. The canyon walls are so beautiful with their orange glow. The canyon is 115 feet below ground level. Our tour guide was a Native American college student named Jacob and he was incredible! Not only did he do a great job giving us information about the canyon, but he pointed out tons of formations that resembled Disney/cartoon characters that the kids loved. Connor even found a new formation that resembled a whale that Jacob was impressed with. Jacob also asked for our camera (iphone's since we forgot our camera) and he took pictures of our family and even taught us about a few iphone photo functions on our phones that we didn't know about. We tipped Jacob well for his services. This was definitely one of our family favorites on this road trip!
