Shyla's 1 year birthday
Thanksgiving at Nana & Papa's
We had Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's this year. My Cousin Kathy and Aunt Geri stopped by to say Hi.My Cousin Daniel stopped to say Hi too!
And of course no visit to Nana and Papa's house would be complete without cuddle time with the Spaz kitty! We always knew where to find Li'l C... just look for Spaz. Those two are inseparable!
The day after we got home from Nana and Papa's house, Li'l C fell and whacked himself in the face. He got a little scratch under his left eye. This was day 1 of his owie.
day 2
day 3 My poor little rockie with his black eye

our mini snowman
We got snow last night and this morning! So, we finally got to test out Li'l C's new snow gear and headed out to check out this cold white stuff. Poor little guy was so bundled up he could barely walk.We made a Li'l C size snowman =)
I couldn't get him to stand by the snowman for the picture... so I ended up being in the picture too. He wasn't too sure what to think of this cold white stuff. I think the fact that we rolled it up into something his height with eyeballs was a little weird for him. He wasn't about to stand next to this thing without mama to protect him.
Aunt Staci's Birthday
Happy Birthday Aunt Staci! We celebrated her birthday with her on Saturday evening. Tony made his amazing Carne Asada's with twice baked potatoes. On her lap is Mia, Michelle's little puppy who came to play with Rocco.Jeremy, Jena and Tony
Michelle and Casey
Li'l C chillen in the recliner with his auntie and Mia. A boys dream- nice soft recliner, remote control and large screen TV! Life doesn't get much better than this.
J has a barnyard game on his iphone that Li'l C just loves. He had to show it to Jena.
He's definitly a ladies man! He loves the girls. He'll walk right up to any female with open arms.Snuggle time with mama.
Rocco being a good little boy. He was excited to have a little playmate for the evening... even if she was only a 2 pound little doggy.
The boys playing the wii.
Thanks for inviting us over Autie! We had fun and the food was amazing (as always) Uncle Tony! We hope you had a wonderful Birthday Staci =)

Bedroom safety tip
Li'l C helped me make my bed after I washed the sheets.Silly little boy playing on moms bed.
You might be wondering why he's playing with car keys...
or better yet WHY I have car keys in my bedroom?!? Good question
A friend sent me an email a while back with a great suggestion. It said to leave your car keys next to your bed at night. If someone breaks into your house during the night or you hear a strange noise you can hit the panic button on your car remote. The noise is sure to scare the stranger off or at the very least alert your neighbors. I tested this out to make sure it would work from our bedroom and yep! It's loud!
Since J travels once in a while I thought this would be a Great idea to keep me and Li'l C safe while he's gone. So, we leave an extra set of keys on the night stand. This is going to be my car someday... right mom? Think I can test drive it now? I've been practicing my driving on my push car. Come on, I can't do any worst than Dad's driving! Hee hee hee

No more shaggy dog
My cutie pa-tootie! Yesterday he got his follow up flu shot. He did so good too! He let out a little whine when the nurse stabled him with the needle, but she was quick and as soon as the needle was out and the band aid was slapped on he was all good. In fact I barely go this pants buttoned up and he was on his feet trucking for the front door. I had to run to catch up with him! I'm sure he was thinking "I'm outta here before they try to stab me again!"We keep joking that we need to buy Li'l C a helmet... well he found his own solution! Silly little guy. I'm guessing the bucket is his crash helmet and the blanket is his air bag. LOL
Nala got a hair cut today... the before shaggy dog
and the beautiful groomed doggy after! Sounds strange, but the shorter her hair the warmer she stays in the winter. She's an indoor dog and only goes outside when she has to. If her hair isn't kept short she comes inside covered in snowballs. Since her hair is so silky soft I can't get the snowballs out and she ends up shivering until they melt. I try to keep at least the hair on her legs really short in the winter so the snow won't stick.
Chloe even got groomed! The groomer cut her nails for me and then I gave her a bath and a good rub down at home. My gosh she practically blends with her black bean bag. It's funny we had to buy her a fluorescent orange collar. At night she could be standing right in front of the back door and unless the light hits her eyes just right... you can't see her! We've even opened the door and yelled for her not realizing she's standing RIGHT there.
