We all played a game of Candy Land before the Sea Hawks game (Connor's wearing his new Sea Hawks gear). Connor won the game fair and square!
You know winter is here when you begin to see Connor and I bundled up in blankets

Connor is following in my foot steps. He has a fascination with rocks. He likes to collect rocks when we go places, just like I did when I was little. When I picked him up from school he was so excited to show me the rock he found on the playground and put in his cubby to bring home. When we got home he colored the rock brown and we glued on some purple hair and eyes... and named him Rockie.
We had a bunch of banana's that turned ripe before we had a chance to eat them so, Jason asked me to make some banana bread with them. I ran to the store to get some ingredients and when I got home I found the boys having fun in Connor's room. They were decorating the walls with Spiderman decals.
Dad hung up some of the bigger decals. Connor got to pick spots for the smaller decals... which means all the spiders got clumped together in one spot...
... and all the round spiderman decals got clumped in another spot.
Not exactly how I would have decorated, but Connor loves it! And it's his room, so as long as he's happy that's all that matters.
Connor's been asking for a Spiderman scarf... and since I can't find one.. I made one! I was hoping for fleece material, but settled for more of a flannel type material instead. I did line the inside with fleece though so it would be thicker and warmer.
Here he is with his new scarf. He really was excited about the scarf.. he just wasn't thrilled I asked him to stop and pose for a picture with the scarf on. He's also wearing his Peter Pan outfit, which he's worn pretty much every day since Halloween!
