After the Fire Station tour we went to Manito Park for the second half of Ryan's 3rd Birthday party.
On the way to the park from the Fire Station the cake in the box fell on the floor... oops. But it still looks great and tasted delicious. Ryan's birthday theme was a combination of Fire truck and Captain America.

present time! Connor was excited to show Ryan the gift he picked out for him.. an educational laptop. This was his second choice, after he tried to convince me that Ryan needed a remote control cop car with lights and incredibly loud sirens. I didn't think John and Laura would appreciate an ear piercing car racing through their home.
Ryan's new collection of puzzles from Grandpa. Great work Grandpa! Ryan loves puzzles just as much as his cousin, Connor. Hopefully these will keep him busy for a while.

Ryan's favorite gift: his new bike! He was so excited to unwrap his trike, with a Spiderman helmet and horn. (I didn't get any pictures of John and Laura at the birthday party. I guess if you have a camera in your hand you get left out of pictures. But you can see both of them in the background of this picture).
Madison and her boyfriend, Kale
Madi and Kale were so sweet. They took Connor and Ryan to the play ground and watched them so the adults could visit. Madison just enrolled as an EWU student too! She will start at EWU as a running start student this fall. Congratulations Madi!
