Connor had his second sleep over party with Ryan! He was so excited. He ran through the house yelling "Yeah, I get to have a sleep over party with Ryan! Sleep over party! Sleep over party!" I ran a few errands Saturday morning and then picked Ryan up on my way home. Jason had just put Connor down for his nap when we got home. We brought Ryan up to his room and set up the playpen so Ryan could nap with Connor. Ryan was ready for a nap, but Connor was so excited that Ryan was here... he just wanted to play. It took me a while to get the boys down for a nap.
When the boys woke up from nap they decided to play some bowling. They took turns setting up the pins and bowling. These two are so good at sharing.

I can't get enough of this sweet boy! I love spending time with little Ryan and watching the friendship between Ryan and Connor blossom.
We decided to go for a bike ride. Ryan rode Connor's tricycle. He's just learning how to ride a trike, so he's not real sure how to make the pedals work. Connor is super fast and zipped along. "I'm the leader" he pronounced as he flew by us. "Wait for me" Ryan called and Connor stopped to wait for us to catch up. I helped Ryan petal the tricycle down the block.
On the way back we switched and Connor and I zipped ahead, while Jason assisted Ryan with pedaling the tricycle. Won't be long and both boys will be zipping along.
Then the boys took a spin in Connor's truck. Connor gave Ryan a driving lesson. He told him how to stear and push the gas pedal and showed him how the radio works. Unfortionately, after one spin around the backyard we were going to switch and let Ryan drive when the battery died. I'm amazed at how long the battery actually lasts though. Connor drives it quiet a bit and we only charge the battery once a month. We'll have to make sure it's fully charged the next time Ryan comes for another sleep over party.
We turned Ryan into a golfer. We love to golf in our yard. Too bad for my brother, John and Laura because they don't enjoy golf. But Ryan really enjoyed it.

Ryan was engrossed playing with Buzz Lightyear when Jason and Connor went outside to brush Chloe. A few minutes later he realized Connor wasn't playing next to him anymore and asked with a concerned look where Connor went.
When Connor came back in the house Ryan ran over to him and said "I missed you Connor" and they hugged. OMG these two melt my heart. During dinner Ryan said "Connor I love you" to which Connor replied "I love you too, Ryan."

Bed time is super easy with these two! Ryan sleeps in Connor's playpen and Connor is in his bed. I took the rail off Connor's bed the day before and he's done just fine without it. I was worried he might fall out of bed, but so far that hasn't happened. I guess I worry more than I need to. I sit on the stool between the two and read a few books, say good night and turn out the lights (I leave Connor's blue twinkle lights on and his radio for background music). Within minutes the two boys are snoozing.
We have so much fun playing and laughing with Ryan. The boys get along so good and really do love each other. I can't get enough of these two and can't wait for Ryan to come for another sleep over party!
