Sleep over party!

Connor had his first sleep over party!  He was so excited. While he was napping Ryan showed up to party.

 First we set up Connor's playpen in his bedroom for Ryan to sleep in.   The boys were excellent helpers.  They were so excited that they both gave me step by step instructions on how to set up the playpen.  Ryan has the same playpen at his house so he knows the set up drill. 
Then they decided to shoot off some stomp rockets and giggle as they flew through the house.

 This was followed by some play time in the basement, which is Connor's play room.

 The boys burned so much energy playing that dinner time was super easy.. they gobbled everything up and went back to playing.  Later we had a jello jiggler snack.  Yum!

Then it was time for bath and bed time.  Both boys laid in their bed and listened to me read a few books and drifted off into a deep sleep.  My parents also spent the night so the next morning I could meet with my friend Kaitlin to study for our Biochemistry final.  We had so much fun with Connor's first sleep over party that I think we're going to have some more this summer.  I love that Ryan and Connor are forming a life long bond.  I hope they will always be close friends and cousins.  There is nothing more special than that closeness you can only find with family!
