Summer has sprung

And with summer comes lawn mowing...  my two boys do an excellent job at keeping our yard looking like an immaculate park!  I love relaxing in our backyard.

 We love using our fire pit in the summer to cook up some tasty s'mores.

 Mr. Independent can make his own peanut butter sandwiches now.  He's such a big boy!

We are so proud of our Aunt Staci!  She has the best Insurance Agency ever... Kerner Insurance can't be beat!  Staci hard at work with her assistant, Ashely.  I stopped by to see her in action, working hard in her office... and then we went to lunch at Red Lobster.  Yum!

The end of May - beginning of June is a busy time for us.  We have Jason's birthday, our 8 year anniversary, my birthday and mother's day.  Lots of special occasions.  Unfortunately Jason left the beginning of June and was in Texas for work for two weeks.  So, Jason got a sitter before he left and surprised me with a date night out.  We enjoyed a great Mexican dinner together and I finally got to see the Hunger Games movie.  Thanks honey!
