10 mile beach and Redwoods

7-11 We drove a few miles and stopped at 10 mile beach. There is a little path through some bushes that lead you to this massive beach dunes. We walked forever over these sand dunes to reach the water. Kaiden and I explored the beach while Jason and Connor relaxed in camp chairs. We found tons of sand dollars and some shells. After a few hours we ventured back to the RV, but this time the sand was hot. So hot that it burnt Piper's feet. Connor and I carried her in a camping chair for a while. Then Jason picked her up and carried her the rest of the way. We traumatized her because she doesn't want to walk on sand now.  Then we drove to the Avenue of Giants with the huge redwood trees.  We stopped for several little hikes. We found a memorial site on one of the hikes. Piper refused to cross a log that was across a dried up creek bed. I had to find another route across with her. We checked out the Walk in Tree. We spent the night at the Humboldt County Fair campsite. We watched the movie Sea Beast.
