7-8 We went to Universal Studios from 9:20am - 9:30pm. Jason actually wanted to skip Universal after 5 days of straight theme parks/attractions, but Connor had been looking forward to Universal the entire trip. The other theme parks were fun, but Connor saw all them when he was about 9 years old. Kaiden was only 3 at the time and doesn't remember them, which is why we wanted to give him the same experience. Universal was also very expensive to get into, but sooo much fun! Universal ended up being everyone's favorite for the entire trip. Connor and I are both huge Harry Potter fans, so of course we loved the Hogwarts section. The Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride that takes you through the castle is incredible! None of us like roller coasters and it is a roller coaster ride, but not in a typical sense. It glides you around the castle and you see some actual animated objects (like the huge dragon that comes at you) but then you also see some 4D animation like when your flying around in a quidditch match. Walking through the castle waiting in line for the ride is also amazing! This was the first ride we did after entering the park (which was great because there was no line). The boys all did this ride a second time later in the day too. I had to pass. My stomach doesn't do good with too many rides. Connor and I both loved the Hogwarts section the most. We kept coming back to it throughout the day. We even got a Butter Beer, which is actually a frozen cream soda. It was so good!
