Thursday we met J's friend, Jake for lunch.
and played at the park
That evening was the start of J's 20 year class reunion. We met at his friend, Lee's house. Lee's wife Debra and daughter, Faith (who happens to be C's favorite age... 7), C and I dropped the guys off at the bar for some socializing with their classmates while we went bowling. Before we left Lee's house though Faith had to show C her pet hamster
This was C's first time bowling! He did great... in fact he beat my score and even got a strike! C and Faith
C tried to roll the ball down the lane once, but it didn't have enough force to get the ball to the end of the lane. After that we used this great bowling rack. You line the rack up, put the ball on the top rest and then it only takes a nudge to get the ball rolling. The bowling ball picks up a lot of speed going down the ramp.Faith is a really good bowler. Being that she's older and stronger, she didn't need to use the rack. She did so good that she even bowled a few times without the side bumpers!
Debra and I bowled too, but I don't have any pictures of that. C had fun bowling and hanging out with Faith.
The bowling alley has a small arcade section, so after bowling we played some games.
Sue, her boyfriend Jon and C. Jon was showing C a basketball game on his phone. C watched Jon play the game and then asked "Can C have a turn now?"
