Connor's birthday

Happy 6th Birthday Connor!

We started the day like any other.. snuggling in bed together.

 Connor likes to poof out his cheeks and make Kaiden smile and laugh

 Connor's birthday was in the middle of the week and I had tons of errands to get done.  I dropped off a truck full of stuff for the thrift store, stopped by our local grocery store bakery for Connor's free birthday donut, stopped at a couple stores and bought a bunch of school clothes for Connor, went to Costco to get supplies for his party and got Connor a frozen yogurt treat for being such an amazing kid and letting me shop on his birthday.  In one of the stores I let him browse the toy section and pick out any toy he wanted for his birthday.  He chose a huge stuffed dinosaur pillow pet that projects star on the ceiling in 3 different colors.

 Kaiden was a great little shopper too.  All smiles

 While we were waiting in line to buy some of Connor's school clothes he chatted up the grandma that was in line behind us.  He's always so outgoing and talks to everyone.  While I was paying for his clothes the Grandma was so impressed with Connor's manners and wonderful behavior that she gave him a hug for being such an incredible kid and $6 cash for his birthday.  WOW!  From a total stranger.

 I let Connor pick any meal he wants on his birthday...
Connor's birthday breakfast was a chocolate donut.  For lunch he chose a chocolate chip pancake and strawberries.  Dinner was a kielbasa sausage, grapes and cheese on a wheat muffin. 
The day following his birthday he spent the night at Waylon and Elona's house.  This was the first time he's stayed at a friends house for a sleep over.  He stayed at his cousin Ryan's house once when Kaiden was born... and he stayed in the RV with his aunt Sue and Jon, but this was the first sleep over at a friends house.
